Few Inspiring Women CEO Who Rule The Business World

The Chief Executive Officer of a company is, in many ways, the head of the entire business. A CEO has the autonomy to make several crucial decisions that affect the growth, development, and the entire future of the firm. A CEO works as a link between the company and the public by addressing them on behalf of the firm. This officer regulates and stabilizes the affairs of the entire business. The shareholders and the Board of Directors choose their CEO based on a few parameters. Therefore, a successful CEO is expected to possess good communication skills and leadership qualities and should also maintain his/her integrity while being goal oriented and optimistic. The CEO of a company should also be a visionary since he/she is the one who is appointed to take every major decision with regard to the company.
Though most CEOs who attained fame are men, the world has also seen prominent women entrepreneurs rising to fame with their indelible contributions to the business world. Susan Wojcicki, a Harvard Scholar, became popular as one of the exceptional female CEOs by taking up the leadership of the highly sought-after video platform Youtube. She was a graduate in Literature and History and subsequently found her forte in the Technological arena. Lisa Su is an Electrical Engineer who governs the AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) Company which provides hardware for Macbooks, Samsung Phones, Microsoft, etc. Prior to heading AMD, this Taiwanese business tycoon also offered services at IBM, Freescale Semiconductor, etc.
Lynsi Snyder- this 37-year-old American Businesswoman is the proprietor of In-N-Out Burger, where baked buns sell out as hot cakes. Battling numerous misfortunes, Lynsi took the entire responsibility of the company upon herself with her sheer grit and perseverance. Whitney Wolfe Herd was the Marketing Manager of the famous app Tinder. She also has the credit of coming up with the logo and the app’s nomenclature. She was forced to quit the company in 2014 owing to some fallouts with the executives, thereby building her own business venture.
Brand names have always borne the names of their CEOs, and amazingly, a bunch of competent female CEOs have created their unique expanse in the business world by erecting their own path-breaking global commercial enterprises. In an article published in Fortune, it is written that “Women currently lead 24 of the 500 companies that appear on the Fortune list, which ranks the largest companies by revenue worldwide. That’s just one more female CEO than at this time last year when women ran 23 such businesses or 4.6%” This report stands as a testament to prove the rarity of women CEOs. Nevertheless, scholarly women in today’s society have found their way to the zenith against all odds.
