
AIA Cargo, a global air cargo company, has appointed Colin D. McInnes as its new Vice President for Cargo in the United Kingdom. This appointment signifies AIA Cargo’s commitment to expanding its presence and operations within the UK market.
Mr. McInnes joins AIA Cargo with a wealth of experience in the air cargo industry, having spent the past 18 years at Swiss WorldCargo, the cargo division of Swiss International Airlines Ltd. During his tenure there, he held a variety of prominent positions, including Regional Manager for the UK, Ireland, and Nordics. He also served in a global leadership role overseeing key account management at Zurich’s company headquarters. Most recently, he was Head of Sales and Account Management for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Champ CargoSystems.
AIA Cargo highlighted Mr. McInnes’ extensive industry network and proven track record in fostering strong relationships with airlines, freight forwarders, and logistics providers. The company expressed confidence that his expertise will be instrumental in establishing AIA Cargo as a trusted and preferred partner within the UK cargo market.
