Janet Trafton Mills (December 30, 1947) is an American politician, lawyer, serving as the 75th governor of Maine since January 2019. Mills is the first woman governor in Maine's history who earned more votes than any governor in the state. She is also the first governor since 1966 to win a majority of votes for her first term.
