Pelosi expresses that Republicans''' red wave' curved into a 'little, tiny trickle’

November 15, 2022: -As states all over the country are keeping to count of votes in a recent battle to control the House of Representatives, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stated Democrats “haven’t given up.”

“Whatever the outcome, we’re on the way to taking our country to a better position than was being pulled down by the other side,” she told on Sunday.

NBC estimates Republicans are winning 219 House seats once all uncalled races are settled, barely over the 218 needed to take the majority. Therefore, Democrats are winning 216. The projection carries a margin of error of plus-or-minus four seats.

Democrats are holding their thin people in the U.S. Senate, NBC News stated, staving off an effort by Republicans to leverage economic volatility and public dissatisfaction into control of the upper chamber of Congress.

Republicans are hoping, and many had openly expected, a “red wave” would remove Democrats from their majorities in branches of the legislature.

“Who would have thought before thoughts that this ‘red wave’ would transform into a little, tiny trickle, if that at all,” Pelosi, a Democrat is next in the line of presidential succession, told CNN on Sunday.

Pelosi said she was also told that the Republican party’s response swayed midterm voters to the violent attack on her husband, Paul Pelosi, in the previous month.

A California man, David DePape, broke into the couple’s San Francisco home, wielded a hammer and prepared to take them away and break the kneecaps of Nancy Pelosi, federal prosecutors  coming down in a criminal complaint.

While many people in Congress quickly showed their support and wishes for the couple, a few Republicans shared misinformation and conspiracy theories regarding the attack. In a deleted tweet, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.), sitting on the House Homeland Security Committee, suggested the assailant was a “nudist hippie male prostitute.”

Pelosi said that ABC, her husband, is “developing” and having “one good day after another.”
